Terms of service
The rules for using raea's online service: your account, raea storage, and publishing to the accounts you connect.
Updated November 5, 2026
The agreement
These terms are between you and Shinyobjectz LLC, which makes raea. They cover raea.io, the raea app's online features, and the service at api.raea.io. Using them means you accept these terms. raea's source code has its own licence, which these terms don't change. Questions go to [email protected].
Your account
You sign in with an account you own, keep your devices secure, and are responsible for what's done with your raea account. If a device is lost, remove it in the raea app.
Your content
What you make with raea is yours. You give raea only the permission it needs to store, process and send your content where you ask: keeping files in raea storage and publishing videos to the accounts you connect. You're responsible for having the rights to what you store and publish.
Publishing
raea publishes to a connected account only when you press Publish, at the time you choose. What you publish must follow each network's own terms and rules (YouTube's, TikTok's, Meta's, LinkedIn's, X's, Bluesky's, Slack's, Discord's), and you're responsible for it as you would be posting it yourself. raea passes on each network's answer, but can't control whether a network accepts, processes or keeps a post.
What you can't do
- Break the law, or infringe anyone else's rights, with raea.
- Publish spam, or content meant to deceive, harass or harm people.
- Get into accounts, data or parts of the service that aren't yours, or get around limits.
- Overload or attack the service, or use it to attack anything else.
raea may suspend an account that does these things, and will tell you why where it can.
Plans and payment
Rendering on your own computer is free. If you choose a paid plan for storage or other online features, its price and limits are shown before you pay, payment goes through Stripe, and you can cancel at any time; the plan runs to the end of the period you paid for.
The service as it is
raea is offered as it is. It's built with care, but it may change, have outages, or lose data, so keep your own copies of anything that matters. To the extent the law allows, raea isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and its total liability to you is limited to what you paid raea in the twelve months before the claim.
Ending
You can stop using raea and delete your account at any time (the privacy policy says how). raea may end the service, or an account that breaks these terms, with notice where it can, and will give you a chance to take your stored files with you.
Changes
When these terms change, this page shows the new date. A change that matters is announced in the raea app before it applies.
